Public Speaking: Being able to speak with enthusiasm and understanding when given a topic at the last minute or without preparation
Scenario:
During your exciting summer vacation, you were invited by the president of the United States to speak and discuss with him a community service project you wish to start. Well, as a result, when you got the buzz was that you met with the president. Everyone was asking how it was, why you went, and what you learned from it. Finally, just when you thought everyone had calmed down, the principal of your school, during your school's annual "Yes! We are Back to School!" assembly, invited you to the stage to give everyone a brief synopsis of your exciting meeting with the president. You had not even prepared, and you are dead afraid of speaking in front of a crowd, let alone the whole school. WHAT SHOULD YOU DO?
"Answer":
In a situation, a leader would not hesitate to go up there. Being able to talk in front of a crowd without preparation is a skill every leader has to have. Although not recommended, being nervous is okay as long as you do not let it "take over".
